on thigh gaps
“feet together, thighs apart” is NOT a good mantra for thinness! not everyone is built to have space between their thighs!
the space between your thighs, or lack thereof, is largely determined by bone structure, the width and angles of the pelvis and hips. some very thin people have thighs that touch because that’s just how they’re built. not having a thigh gap does not mean your legs are fat.
don’t set unrealistic expectations for yourself. your body might look different from someone else’s and that’s okay!
